Elanic Seller Stories - Divya Maben

Divya is an economics graduate turned blogger, fashion stylist and consultant.

We chatted with her to know more about her Elanic experience:

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I am a stylist, brand consultant and blogger. Blogging and styling are second nature to me - I absolutely love them! As for brand consulting, I partner with my sister, who works from Dubai while I work from here in Bangalore.

What do you like about Elanic?

I love that the app is straightforward and easy to use. I have seen other apps with similar processes but to me Elanic has been the simplest to use.

What do you do with the money you make on the app?

I haven’t cashed it yet, but I think I’m going to use it to shop again!

How would you describe your personal style?

I would call it simple and chic.

What are 3 things in your wardrobe you cannot live without?

A pair of jeans, gunjees and black pumps!

How do you manage your closet?

I’m a freelancer. That means that though I can be flexible with my time, my schedule can get pretty erratic. So when I start listing, I do it all at once. I still have so many products to list!

What's your favourite sale on the app?

I used to travel a lot, and was studying abroad for some time. So when I had to move, I had to part with many of my favourite things. But that’s okay - selling is better than hoarding!

What has your selling experience on Elanic been like?

It has been great! Elanic has always been extremely responsive whenever I’ve tried reaching them, and I’m very comfortable with using it.

What has your most memorable interaction on Elanic been?

One of my followers on social media bought a pair of shoes from my closet on Elanic. She later messaged me on another platform and said that she was thrilled to be wearing a product that I owned. That made me feel very happy!

Any tips to other users for selling faster?

I think one of the best ways to sell is to keep your prices reasonable. I have seen many closets where products are priced much higher than necessary. That will push away a prospective buyer. Also, I think presentation is very important. For example, flat lays are easy on the eye.
